Home / Chris Broad fines Stuart Broad, his son, for Yasir Shah send-off
After using inappropriate when sending off Yasir Shah, Stuart Broad was handed down a 15% fine of his match fees by none other than his father, Chris Broad.
Stuart Broad had breached the International Cricket Councils code of conduct during the first cricket Test between England and Pakistan. The sanction stated it was a level one breach and on top of the 15% match fee fine he also was given one demerit point for the use of inappropriate language. Broad had no argument and admitted to the offence. Chris Broad, the former England batsman who is now a member of the ICC’s elite panel of match referees had to impose the sanction on his son in line with the rules.
Stuart Broads reaction on twitter was humorous with him tweeting ‘’He’s off the Christmas card & present list’’
